 CALLING ALL MUSICIANS
(posted April 28th, 2008) As the Spring 2008 term is about to begin, we are looking for new members who are interested in joining the band. Being in the band is a fun and rewarding experience. We have weekly rehearsals, as well as various gigs throughout the term. If you think you have what it takes, let us know by e-mailing info@engjazzband.com. Please include what instrument you play and any past experience you have. Remember, no auditions are required! END OF TERM CHARITY GIG
(posted April 28th, 2008) Thank you for everyone who came out to the UW Engineering Stage Band Charity Gig on Tuesday, April 8th and made it a very successful event! We have raised over $500 for the Waterloo Region Food Bank and the UW Chapter of Engineers Without Borders. It's been a great term for all of us and we would like to thank all the support we got from all the events we played. Stay tuned for more upcoming events as the next term rolls around! Special thanks to Sam Cheng for taking pictures for us during the concert, you can view some of the pictures he took on his blog.
